Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Chooses Inworks ePayables Service

Inworks Strategic AP program cuts costs and increases payment transaction revenue

Portland, Ore, July 6, 2017

Inworks®, a Portland, Oregon-based financial services company specializing in revenue-generating AP strategies for healthcare institutions, commercial industry and higher education, announced that it has partnered with Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center (RMC) to provide ePayables services through the company’s Strategic AP® program.

Northeast Alabama’s leading healthcare provider, RMC had sought an alternative to the bankcard AP service it had previously used because it failed to generate significant payment transaction revenue and continued to lose participating suppliers. In addition, the hospital was spending so much administrative time and effort on the daily operation of the bankcard system, the costs to the hospital began to outweigh any potential benefits.

Industry’s highest level of supplier participation and rebate income

The hospital selected Inworks Strategic AP based on its streamlined, low-maintenance features, as well as its superior performance record for building supplier participation and payment transaction revenue. This high rate of participation ensures the hospital maximum payment transaction revenue and continued growth for the life of the program.

More ePayment options than any other service

Inworks provides the most effective methods for attracting and maintaining participating suppliers. By offering the industry’s broadest range of customized e-pay methods, Inworks enables its clients to meet each of their supplier’s specific payment requirements. These payment methods include ACH, credit card, and the Inworks Connect® private network, which provides a complete range of services for secure electronic payment and remittance, in addition to early pay options.

Inworks also helps increase supplier participation and retention by managing all supplier communication and onboarding for its customers. The company’s electronic Supplier Enrollment Center offers new suppliers an easy and convenient sign-up process.

Superior efficiency saves time and money

In addition to maximizing payment transaction revenue, Inworks Strategic AP also saves the hospital administrative time and expense. “I used to spend way too much time managing our ePayables program,” said Susan Marney, Director of Finance for RMC. “With our new system from Inworks, I’m looking forward to freeing myself and staff of any hands-on involvement.”
